Juniper Green Energy

Juniper Green Energy is in focus after reporting strong first-quarter numbers.

The company’s consolidated profit increased 54.2% year-on-year to ₹33.5 crore, compared with ₹21.7 crore in the corresponding period. Revenue rose 81.2% to ₹291.2 crore, from ₹160.7 crore a year earlier.

The quarterly performance places the renewable-energy company among the stocks attracting attention in Thursday’s session.

ICICI Prudential AMC

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company is in focus following reports that Prudential Corporation Holdings plans to sell around a 2% stake in the company.

The reported offer size is approximately ₹3,121 crore and is aimed at helping the promoter group meet minimum public-shareholding requirements. As of June 2026, total promoter holding was reported at 87.6%, with Prudential Corporation Holdings owning 34.59%.

Foseco India

Foseco India is in focus after reports that Morganite Crucible and Morgan Terrassen BV are likely to sell their entire 15.27% stake through a block deal.

Bharat Electronics

Bharat Electronics is in focus after announcing additional orders worth ₹730 crore since August 10.

Max Healthcare Institute

Max Healthcare Institute is in focus after its subsidiary, Alps Hospital, received a show-cause-cum-demand notice from the DGGI, Mumbai.

The notice alleges a GST demand of approximately ₹165.7 crore, including a penalty component of ₹110.47 crore. The development is now an important company-specific regulatory item for investors to track.

Vedanta

Vedanta has responded to recent market speculation concerning a possible stake sale by its parent company.

PhysicsWallah witnessed a significant block-deal transaction after Lightspeed Opportunity Fund II LP exited its investment.

The investor sold 4.67 crore equity shares, representing approximately 1.61% of the company’s paid-up equity, for ₹549.73 crore at ₹117.72 per share. Several institutional investors, including ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore and others, were reported among the buyers.

Market Overview

The Indian market ended Wednesday lower despite an initially positive session. The Nifty 50 closed at 24,207.75, down 0.52%, while the Sensex declined 183 points. The Nifty Smallcap 100 gained around 0.8%, while the Midcap index ended broadly flat, indicating continued divergence between large-cap and broader-market segments.
