Indian stocks begin November with a mixed backdrop. The benchmark indices recovered on Friday, October 30, but the improvement was concentrated in large companies while smaller stocks remained under pressure. The Nifty 50 closed at 23,053.10, gaining 116.35 points or 0.51%, while the Sensex advanced 308.49 points or 0.42% to finish at 74,459.53.
Buying in technology and pharmaceutical stocks helped the indices end higher. The broader market was less convincing, with declining stocks outnumbering advances. Foreign institutional investors returned as net buyers, although domestic institutions sold shares during the session.
For Monday, November 2, attention turns to a fresh set of company announcements made towards the end of October and over the weekend. Acquisitions, construction orders, healthcare expansion, regulatory developments and operational updates provide several stock-specific developments to follow.

The proposed purchase price is $11.70 per share. The transaction is expected to close in early 2027, subject to the necessary approvals and closing conditions.
Perion operates in digital advertising technology, making the deal significant for Affle’s international ambitions. Investors will be watching the financing structure, integration plans and the company’s ability to turn a larger global presence into a stronger competitive position.
NCC: Fresh Construction Orders Worth ₹1,862 Crore
Construction company NCC has reported eight additional orders received during October, with a combined value of ₹1,862.45 crore.
The water division accounts for ₹767.11 crore, while the buildings division has secured ₹688.78 crore. Transportation projects contribute another ₹406.56 crore.

The distribution matters because it shows demand across several infrastructure segments rather than dependence on one project category. The next consideration is execution, particularly project schedules, working capital requirements and the conversion of orders into completed work.
Granules India: USFDA Inspection Raises Regulatory Concerns
Granules India faces an important regulatory development after the US Food and Drug Administration completed an inspection of its finished dosage manufacturing facility at Gagillapur in Hyderabad.
The inspection ran from October 19 to October 30 and concluded with a Form FDA 483 containing 11 observations.
A Form 483 records conditions that inspectors believe may violate regulatory requirements. It is not the same as a final enforcement decision. Nevertheless, the number and nature of the observations make the company’s corrective response important.

Investors will be looking for details of the issues identified, the remediation programme and any possible effect on manufacturing operations or future product approvals.
Coal India: October Supplies Set a New Monthly Record
Coal India has reported its highest monthly coal supplies, reaching 70.3 million tonnes in October. The previous record stood at 69.4 million tonnes, achieved in March 2026.
Supplies to the power sector also reached a new high of 57.1 million tonnes, exceeding the earlier record of 56.5 million tonnes.
The development is significant for India’s electricity supply chain, particularly when thermal power plants need reliable fuel deliveries. Stronger dispatch volumes can also reflect improvements in logistics and coordination with major customers.

The market will now assess whether the higher supply rate can be maintained and how it affects coal inventories at power stations.
KIMS: Anantapur Hospital Doubles Its Bed Capacity
Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences has expanded its KIMS Saveera Hospital in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, from 250 beds to 500 beds.
The hospital is operated through subsidiary Saveera Institute of Medical Sciences. The additional capacity is intended to strengthen access to specialised healthcare services across the Rayalaseema region.
Hospital expansion is a longer-term business development. Additional beds increase the potential scale of operations, but they also require staffing, equipment and patient demand to support utilisation.

For KIMS, the focus will be on how quickly the expanded facility becomes operational at its intended scale and whether the hospital can attract patients from surrounding districts.
Waaree Renewable Technologies: Five-Year Solar Maintenance Contract
Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured a five-year operation and maintenance agreement covering a 360 MWp solar power project.
Unlike a new solar construction contract, an operation and maintenance agreement involves ongoing responsibilities for the performance and upkeep of an existing project. These services can provide recurring business over the contract period.
The agreement also strengthens Waaree Renewable Technologies’ involvement in the solar power industry beyond project installation. Investors will watch the company’s ability to manage the asset efficiently and build a larger portfolio of long-term service contracts.

RBM Infracon: New ₹354.76 Crore Construction Order
RBM Infracon has received a work order worth ₹354.76 crore from Epitome Industries for building construction and commissioning.
The contract represents a substantial new project commitment for the company. However, the announcement itself does not establish when the entire order value will be realised.
Execution schedules, project costs and payment terms will determine how the contract progresses. Investors may also pay attention to the company’s ability to manage a large project without placing excessive pressure on working capital.
Nazara Technologies: Further Investment in Overseas Acquisitions
Gaming and digital entertainment company Nazara Technologies has invested $77 million, approximately ₹734.35 crore, in its UK subsidiary.
Also Read: US Stocks to Watch Today, October 26, 2026: Verizon, Tesla, CoreWeave, Cadence and EQT
The investment relates to the second tranche of the acquisition of Bluetile and Bestplay, extending Nazara’s international gaming interests.
The move highlights the company’s continued use of acquisitions to expand its portfolio and geographic reach. The important question is how the acquired businesses fit into Nazara’s wider operations and whether the company can integrate them without increasing organisational complexity.
Bajaj Electricals: Income-Tax Demand of ₹112.32 Crore
Bajaj Electricals has received an assessment order from the Income Tax Department for the assessment year 2019-20, raising a demand of ₹112.32 crore, including interest.
The demand relates to the disallowance of certain expenses.

An assessment order does not necessarily mean the entire amount will ultimately become payable, as tax disputes can proceed through appeal and other legal processes. Still, the development creates an issue that investors will want the company to address.
The next update to watch is Bajaj Electricals’ response to the assessment and its intended course of action.
Axis Bank: SEBI Concludes Axis Capital Proceedings
Axis Bank is in focus after the Securities and Exchange Board of India issued its final order concerning subsidiary Axis Capital.
The regulator imposed a regulatory censure, bringing proceedings connected with restrictions imposed in September 2024 to a conclusion. SEBI noted that no investor harm or fraudulent default had been recorded in the matter.
Axis Bank has indicated that it does not expect a material impact on its business.
The development provides greater clarity on a regulatory issue involving the group’s investment banking operations. Investors will assess the implications for Axis Capital’s business activities and future compliance requirements.
What Investors Will Watch on Monday
Monday’s company announcements offer a contrast between expansion opportunities and regulatory risks. Affle 3i and Nazara Technologies are pursuing overseas acquisitions, NCC and RBM Infracon have added construction work, and KIMS is expanding healthcare capacity. Granules India and Bajaj Electricals, meanwhile, face developments that require regulatory or legal follow-up.
The broader market backdrop also deserves attention. Friday’s rise in the benchmark indices did not extend evenly across smaller companies, and the return of foreign institutional buying has yet to establish a consistent trend.

For November 2, the most useful distinction will be between announcements that change a company’s business prospects and those that simply attract short-term trading attention.
