Rising crude oil prices, geopolitical uncertainty and higher global bond yields continue to influence market sentiment.

With several company-specific announcements released after Wednesday’s market close, stocks linked to fundraising, business expansion, corporate restructuring, new orders and regulatory developments are likely to remain in focus today.

Hyundai Motor India

Hyundai Motor India is in focus after announcing that it will increase vehicle prices by up to 1% across its portfolio from September 2026. The company said the revision is linked to rising input and commodity costs, higher operational expenses and continuing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties.

The actual increase will vary depending on the model and variant. The announcement places the company in focus ahead of the September price revision and comes at a time when automobile manufacturers are managing higher input costs.

Aditya Infotech

Aditya Infotech, the company behind the CP Plus brand, is in focus after its board approved a fundraising plan of up to ₹1,500 crore.

The company may raise the capital through one or more permitted routes, including a public issue, qualified institutional placement or a combination of these methods. The proposed fundraising remains subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.

BSE

BSE is in focus after entering into an agreement with MSCI covering several of its indexes. Under the arrangement, the exchange will explore launching futures and options contracts in India linked to MSCI indexes, subject to regulatory approvals.

The development could expand the range of index-linked derivatives available through the exchange and is part of BSE’s broader efforts to develop India’s capital-market infrastructure.

HEG

HEG is in focus after the National Company Law Tribunal, Indore Bench, approved the composite scheme involving HEG, HEG Graphite and Bhilwara Energy.

Under the demerger arrangement, shareholders are expected to receive shares in a 1:1 ratio. The scheme will become effective after the certified NCLT order is received and filed with the Registrar of Companies.

Ceigall India

Ceigall India has secured five Letters of Acceptance from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways through its joint ventures. The combined bid cost of the five projects is ₹2,423.70 crore.

The projects relate to construction work on NH-913, also known as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh. The five orders were secured within two days, making the development an important addition to the company’s order pipeline.

HDFC Life Insurance

HDFC Life Insurance is in focus after receiving approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India for the reappointment of Vibha Padalkar as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for another five-year term beginning September 12, 2026.

IRDAI has also approved the reappointment of Niraj Shah as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for another five-year term.

The Phoenix Mills

The Phoenix Mills has received fresh allotments from O2 Renewable Energy XXVIII. The company received 2,74,332 equity shares and 24,690 Series B compulsory convertible debentures, while its subsidiary Offbeat Developers received 3,02,568 equity shares and 27,231 Series B CCDs.

Following the allotment, the company and its subsidiary together hold a 45% equity stake in the renewable-energy entity.

Hexaware Technologies

Hexaware Technologies has launched “Zero Vulnerability,” an AI-led cybersecurity offering designed to help enterprises identify, prioritise and verify remediation of vulnerabilities.

The company said the product addresses the growing challenge of vulnerability management as enterprises face an increasing number of security issues while security and engineering teams have limited capacity to investigate and resolve them.

IDFC First Bank

IDFC First Bank is in focus after increasing the size of its senior notes issuance under its Euro Medium Term Note programme.

The bank increased the issuance by another $100 million, taking the total size to $600 million from the earlier $500 million. The development adds to the bank’s recent funding activity in international debt markets.

Titagarh Rail Systems

Titagarh Rail Systems has received Approved Vendor status from Indian Railways for supplying three-phase locomotive traction motors.

The approved manufacturing capacity is 1,200 motors per year. The development adds another approved product category to the company’s railway-related manufacturing activities and keeps the stock in focus during a period of continued railway infrastructure spending.

Market Overview

The broader market remains under pressure after the Nifty recorded its seventh consecutive decline. The index has now fallen about 2.1% over the seven-session losing streak, while the Sensex has declined in six of the past seven sessions.

Crude oil remains an important market factor. Brent crude was around $92 a barrel after rising amid continuing geopolitical uncertainty in West Asia. The rupee also weakened to around ₹95.75 against the US dollar on Wednesday, with traders continuing to watch the RBI’s presence in the currency market.

Institutional flows provided some support during Wednesday’s session. FIIs were provisional net buyers of about ₹408 crore, while DIIs bought approximately ₹3,974 crore, according to exchange data.

Another important factor today is the weekly derivatives expiry. The Nifty weekly contracts expire on Thursday, with the 24,000 strike attracting significant options activity. This could contribute to higher intraday market activity alongside the ongoing global and domestic developments.
