NBCC has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bihar government for four redevelopment projects in Patna. The proposed developments include residential housing, an IT technology park and commercial properties. The company also announced fresh project management assignments from Oil India and Hindustan Aeronautics.

The Bihar agreement is particularly significant because the projects are proposed on a self-financing model. Expected property sales and leasing proceeds should not be confused with an assured construction order value. The market will be watching how quickly the projects move from agreement to implementation.

Choice International has approved a proposal to issue bonus shares in a one-for-one ratio, subject to shareholder approval. The board has also approved an increase in authorised share capital.

A bonus issue increases the number of shares held by eligible shareholders without changing their proportional ownership. It does not, by itself, create additional business value. The next developments will be shareholder approval and the announcement of the relevant entitlement dates.

What Investors Will Watch on Tuesday

Tuesday’s corporate developments are spread across infrastructure, renewable energy, defence manufacturing, real estate and industrial equipment. NBCC’s redevelopment plans and ACME Solar’s commissioning milestone stand out for their scale, while ideaForge and Sunita Tools offer developments in specialised defence and aerospace-related manufacturing.

The strength of Monday’s rally also sets a demanding backdrop. With the Nifty gaining nearly 400 points in a single session, investors will be assessing whether fresh corporate announcements can sustain interest in individual stocks rather than relying entirely on the momentum of the broader market.
