Monday, October 26 brought a broad set of September-quarter results from consumer, pharmaceutical, banking, power-finance, auto-component and hospitality companies. The figures below are reported Q2 FY27 results, with year-on-year comparisons where available. All amounts are in ₹ crore unless stated otherwise. This roundup covers results announced today and does not repeat companies featured in the earlier earnings roundup.
Tata Consumer Products
Tata Consumer reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹5,661.1 crore, up 14% year on year. Consolidated net profit rose 16% to ₹469.3 crore. The result reflected growth in packaged foods and beverages, while tea demand remained comparatively subdued. Investors will watch whether newer categories can keep supporting growth and margins as the company scales them.
Mankind Pharma
Mankind Pharma posted consolidated revenue of ₹4,432.71 crore, up 17% year on year, and net profit of ₹711.48 crore, up 39.1%. Operating profit increased 27.1% to ₹1,171.25 crore. The company cited growth in chronic therapies, including diabetes and cardiac treatments, alongside double-digit expansion in specialty businesses.
REC
REC’s consolidated net profit declined 21.23% to ₹3,477.73 crore from ₹4,414.93 crore a year earlier. Interest income was broadly flat at ₹14,669.49 crore, compared with ₹14,589.97 crore. The board declared a second interim dividend of ₹3.50 per share and fixed October 30 as the record date. The profit decline and dividend announcement are separate parts of the update: investors will still look closely at lending margins and asset quality.

Ather Energy
Ather Energy swung to a consolidated net profit of ₹1.26 crore, compared with a loss of ₹154 crore in the year-ago quarter. Total income rose 62% to about ₹1,527 crore, and vehicle volumes increased 42% to 93,211 units. EBITDA margin improved to 4.9%, marking a second consecutive EBITDA-positive quarter. Investors will assess the contribution from product mix and end-market demand in the detailed disclosures.
Dalmia Bharat
Dalmia Bharat reported revenue of ₹3,563 crore, up 4.3%, but swung to a net loss of ₹205 crore from a profit of ₹239 crore a year earlier. EBITDA fell 29.2% to ₹493 crore. The quarter shows how modest revenue growth can coexist with a weaker bottom line when operating profitability contracts.
What the October 26 results show
Today’s announcements were mixed. Tata Consumer, Mankind Pharma, the two public-sector banks, Ather and auto-component makers Sona BLW and APL Apollo reported year-on-year profit growth or a sharp recovery. REC recorded lower profit, while Dalmia Bharat moved into a loss. Revenue growth alone did not tell the full story: margins, funding costs, operating expenses and the quality of earnings shaped the results.
