Sunday, October 25, is a non-trading day for Indian equity markets. This earnings roundup covers the latest confirmed Q2 FY27 results announced on Saturday, October 24. It focuses on companies not included in OneTrader’s separate market-news roundup.

1. JK Cement: Profit rises 6.3% as cement volumes grow

JK Cement reported consolidated net profit of ₹169.30 crore for Q2 FY27, up 6.3% from ₹159.25 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations increased 23.7% to ₹3,733.42 crore. Grey cement sales volumes rose 21%, while white cement volumes grew 13%.

The earnings growth was more modest than the increase in revenue, making cost control and the ability to sustain volume gains important points to track in coming quarters.

2. Kajaria Ceramics: Net profit up about 42%

Kajaria Ceramics posted consolidated total income of ₹1,468.26 crore for the September quarter, an increase of about 23.8% year on year. Net profit rose about 42% to roughly ₹190.6 crore. The company also approved an interim dividend of ₹12 per share.

The result showed profit growing faster than income. Investors will watch whether demand, product mix and operating costs can continue to support that improvement.

3. JK Tyre: Revenue reaches a record quarterly level

JK Tyre & Industries reported consolidated Q2 revenue of ₹4,850 crore, up 20% year on year, and net profit of ₹60 crore. Domestic sales increased 32%, while sales to original-equipment manufacturers rose 65%. Its Mexican subsidiary contributed revenue of ₹479 crore.

Raw-material and freight costs remained pressure points. The next results will show whether higher volumes can sustain profitability as input costs move.

4. Gujarat Ambuja Exports: Profit jumps despite slightly lower sales

Gujarat Ambuja Exports reported consolidated profit after tax of ₹131.79 crore, compared with ₹38.02 crore in Q2 FY26. Revenue from operations was about ₹1,450.73 crore, down roughly 2.4% year on year.

The sharp profit increase alongside a small revenue decline points to a stronger earnings contribution from margins and business mix this quarter. Investors will look for confirmation that the improvement can continue.

5. Chemcon Speciality Chemicals: Profit growth outpaces revenue

Chemcon Speciality Chemicals recorded revenue from operations of ₹65.45 crore, up 21.8% year on year. Net profit increased 30.8% to ₹7.52 crore. For the first half of FY27, net profit rose 52.3% to ₹18.48 crore.

The specialty-chemicals maker’s results showed a stronger increase in profit than in sales. Investors will track demand across its product lines and whether the margin improvement is sustained.

What to watch in the next results

The five results show different earnings patterns: volume-led growth at cement and tyre companies, stronger profit conversion at Kajaria and Chemcon, and a sharp profit recovery at Gujarat Ambuja Exports despite a modest decline in sales. The next set of quarterly updates will help investors assess whether these trends are durable and how companies are managing costs.
