At 9:15 AM, the trading app crashed. Vikas refreshed it eleven times, restarted his phone, and finally blamed the router. Then the app returned and showed his stock up four percent. He had never been so grateful for a crash. He decided the app deserved a thank you, and wrote five stars in the review box. Later that week the app crashed again, and this time his stock fell six percent while the screen spun. He edited the review, deleted three stars, and wrote ’emotional damage.’ The app replied with a polite message: ‘Please try again later.’ Vikas is still trying.
