Jio IPO GMP Today at ₹250: Indicative Listing Price, Allotment and Key Dates

Updated October 25, 2026: The latest reported grey-market premium for Jio Platforms is around ₹250 per share ahead of the company’s scheduled stock-market debut. Against the IPO’s upper price band of ₹1,119, that unofficial quote implies a grey-market price near ₹1,369, or about 22.34% above the offer price. The figure is an informal market indication, not an official price or a promise of listing gains.

Jio Platforms IPO GMP today

Reports tracking the unofficial market put Jio Platforms’ GMP at approximately ₹250 per share on Sunday, October 25. Because grey-market trades take place outside the recognised stock exchanges, quotes can vary between dealers and may change quickly. There is no single exchange-published GMP, and the company, registrar and stock exchanges do not set or guarantee this number.

The indicative calculation is straightforward: the upper end of the IPO price band, ₹1,119, plus a reported GMP of ₹250 gives an implied price of ₹1,369. The premium works out to roughly 22.34% of ₹1,119. Since the IPO lot contains 12 shares, the arithmetic difference would be ₹3,000 per lot if the grey-market quote were matched in the listed market. That is only a calculation based on an unofficial quote; it is not a forecast of the actual listing price or an assured return.

IPO bidding has closed; allotment is next

Jio Platforms’ ₹30,213-crore IPO closed for subscription on October 23. The issue carried a price band of ₹1,065 to ₹1,119 per share and a lot size of 12 shares. With applications closed, the next scheduled event for applicants is the finalisation of the basis of allotment, expected on October 26. Shares are expected to be credited to successful applicants’ demat accounts on October 27, with the market debut scheduled for October 28 on the BSE and NSE.

Applicants should check the allotment result through the official registrar or the exchanges once it is published. Allotment is subject to the final basis of allotment; a high subscription multiple does not mean every applicant will receive shares.

Subscription figures show strong demand

The IPO closed with an overall subscription of 22.19 times the shares on offer. Qualified institutional buyers subscribed about 70.55 times their reserved portion, while the non-institutional category subscribed 14 times and the retail individual investor category subscribed 2.72 times. These figures describe demand during the application period. They do not set the price at which shares will trade after listing.

The subscription data and the GMP reflect different things. Subscription counts bids made for shares in the public issue. GMP is an informal indication from off-exchange activity before listing. Both can attract attention, but neither determines the opening price on the exchange.

Why the GMP should be treated cautiously

Grey-market prices are not regulated exchange quotations and do not provide the same transparency as an official order book. The reported premium can move before the listing, and different market participants may quote different levels. The listing price will be determined by actual buy and sell orders on the exchanges after trading begins, along with the broader market mood and investors’ assessment of the company.

A GMP of ₹250 therefore does not mean Jio Platforms will list at ₹1,369. If the premium narrows, disappears or turns negative before the debut, the implied price changes with it. Even a strong subscription can be followed by a volatile listing, and the first-day price may move sharply in either direction.

What applicants should watch before listing

For applicants, the immediate dates to watch are the allotment process on October 26, the expected demat credit on October 27 and the scheduled listing on October 28. The final allotment notice and exchange listing information should take priority over unofficial estimates. Once trading begins, investors will be able to observe the actual market price and volume rather than relying on grey-market indications.

Jio Platforms’ reported GMP currently points to optimistic unofficial sentiment, while the IPO’s subscription figures show strong demand, particularly from institutional bidders. Neither is a guarantee of listing gains. The ₹250 quote should be read as a snapshot of reported grey-market activity on October 25, not as a confirmed value for Jio Platforms shares.
