IDFC FIRST Bank: Profit nearly triples

IDFC FIRST Bank reported Q2 FY27 profit after tax of ₹1,045 crore, up 196.5% from ₹352 crore a year earlier. Core operating profit, excluding trading gains, rose 38.5% to ₹2,527 crore. Deposits increased 25.9% year on year to ₹3.49 lakh crore, while advances grew 30.1% to ₹3.47 lakh crore.

The results show growth in both revenue and profit. Investors will look to future quarters for evidence that the company can maintain this pace as its lending business expands.

These four companies add fresh results to the current earnings coverage without repeating the companies featured in the earlier OneTrader earnings and market-news roundups.
