Friday brought fresh company results, a revised outlook and a buyback decision. Here are ten announcements from October 23, 2026; figures are for the September quarter unless stated otherwise.
1. Infosys trims its full-year revenue outlook
Infosys reported second-quarter consolidated net profit of ₹7,823 crore, up 6% year on year, while revenue increased 11% to ₹49,244 crore. The bigger signal was its FY27 revenue guidance reduction to 1%–2% in constant-currency terms, from the earlier 1.5%–3% range. It also declared an interim dividend of ₹26 per share, leaving investors to weigh profit growth against the softer outlook.
2. Shriram Finance lifts profit and declares a dividend
Shriram Finance posted consolidated net profit of ₹3,683.81 crore, a 59% increase from a year earlier, as total income rose 15.8% to ₹13,801.84 crore. The board announced an interim dividend of ₹6.50 per share. Lower finance costs helped, while impairment provisions increased. Investors will track collections and credit costs alongside loan growth.
3. JSW Steel reports a sharp profit jump
JSW Steel’s consolidated net profit rose 225% year on year to ₹5,279 crore in Q2 FY27. Revenue from operations increased 20.7% to ₹54,489 crore, while EBITDA climbed 42.2% to ₹10,120 crore. Higher sales supported the result. Steel demand, realisations and input costs remain important indicators for coming quarters.

4. Adani Power posts higher quarterly profit
Adani Power reported a 142% year-on-year increase in second-quarter profit after tax to ₹7,019 crore. Higher revenue recognition was cited as a key factor behind the rise. Investors will look for details on recurring operations, generation, receivables and cash flows in coming quarters.
5. Dr Reddy’s beats estimates despite a year-on-year profit decline
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories reported net profit of ₹925 crore, lower than ₹1,347 crore a year earlier but above analyst expectations. Revenue slipped 1.6% to ₹8,698 crore. North American revenue declined about 23% amid pricing pressure and competition, while domestic sales grew 17.2% to ₹1,850 crore. A semaglutide product recall had a ₹71 crore impact. The contrasting regional trends remain central to its outlook.
6. SBI Card’s profit rises as provisions ease
SBI Card reported quarterly profit of ₹778 crore, up 74.8% year on year, while revenue from operations increased 3.6% to ₹5,141 crore. Lower provisions and improving asset quality supported earnings; gross non-performing assets eased to 1.90%. Investors will monitor spending growth and repayment trends as the card base expands.
7. IndusInd Bank returns to quarterly profit
IndusInd Bank reported net profit of ₹1,176 crore for the September quarter, compared with a loss of ₹445 crore in the same quarter last year. Net interest income rose to ₹4,569 crore from ₹4,409 crore. Gross NPA improved to 2.73% from 3.25% at the end of June. Investors will look for sustained improvement in asset quality and business growth.

Net debt fell to ₹14,786 crore from ₹15,927 crore at the end of June. Higher volumes and lower debt are positives; margins remain exposed to input costs and pricing.
9. Godrej Properties sees profit fall as bookings soften
Godrej Properties’ Q2 net profit declined 62% to ₹154.15 crore, even as total income rose to ₹2,571.73 crore from ₹1,950.05 crore. Sales bookings slipped 6% year on year to ₹8,008 crore. Lower bookings and weaker profit put project completions, launches and cost control in focus. Investors will watch for sales momentum in the second half.
10. Atul approves a ₹90 crore share buyback
Atul’s board approved a buyback of equity shares worth up to ₹90 crore at a maximum price of ₹7,500 per share. The buyback decision was announced alongside the company’s September-quarter results.
